Exploring music on the iPad: a Gizmodo guide

Saturday, 19 January 2013

Confused by all those music apps out there? Gizmodo has a guide to 11 of the handiest. Handily, many are free on the web, so you can check them out before you buy. The most attractive, to me, is Discovr Music. It offers bubble links from one artist to another. Thus Norah Jones leads to Amy Winehouse and Dianna Krall, among others. Holding down on the bubble calls up a screen with a handy bio, YouTube videos and tracks of the songs. Not bad for $1.
